How it works
From your first push
to production.
Keep the Git workflow you know. d2o takes care of building and deploying your application, with the tools to manage what comes next.
Three steps. A running application.
-
Push your code.
Create a project and environment, then add a web app or worker. Choose your runtime, set your configuration, and add the Git remote provided by d2o.
Push to your app’s d2o repository to start a build. Use the commands in the dashboard or configure the remote with the CLI.
Once your remote is ready
$ git push paas mainNode.js, Ruby / Rails, Python, and Rust.
No Dockerfile required. -
Watch your apps deploy automatically.
d2o builds your source into a runnable image. With Automatic deployment enabled, successful builds roll out to your environment automatically.
Follow progress in the dashboard. If you prefer to pick the release moment, turn Automatic deployment off and deploy a completed build when you’re ready.
Your release path
- Source pushed
- Application built
- Release deployed
Every release uses the exact image produced by its build.
-
Sit back and relax.
Your web app gets an HTTPS address. Connect a custom domain, attach a database or storage bucket, and keep building your product.
When you need a closer look, logs, metrics, deployment history, and a console are available in the dashboard.
Stay in control
- HTTPS and custom domains
- Logs and resource metrics
- App replicas and autoscaling
- Secrets and environment variables
Your next release
Build once. Move forward with confidence.
Keep development, staging, and production in one project. Promote a tested application image into the next stage without rebuilding it.
- Development
- Staging
- Production
The same build, each step of the way. Promotion moves the application image. Databases, bucket contents, secrets, and environment variables stay in their own environments.
In stages configured for promotion, you can also roll back to a previously deployed image. Coordinate any database migrations separately.
Bring your next idea.
Tell us what you’d like to run. d2o is currently invite-only.
